Once again, I appreciate the replies that have come in here. I'm now wondering if anyone know of anything in the Estes Park region/Rocky Mountain National Park?

Loop around Moraine Park (north entrance) and out the south entrance. That's up US 34 and down US36 Or do Trail Ridge to the Rock Cut and back down. That should be spectacular.

Or out CO 7 to CO72 and return.

Another would be down US34 (Big Thompson Canyon) to Devil's Gulch Road and back. But be ware, anything with Devil in it is bad, very bad. It's a nasty climb back to Estes Park!

You could also drive over to Grand Lake. There's lots of options over there.

Well, we have some pretty trees, etc. on the CC Trail from C-470 South. Haven't finished turning yet, but I get some spectacular pictures each year.

Also, the Highline Canal is loaded with poplars - 1,000s of them, which can be quite spectacular, plus other foliage. Again, not sure if the have turned yet, but they are close. This is an easy ride for either mtn, cross or roadie - especially if you have 700x25 or larger. I do it all the time on a roadie.

Start at Writers Vista Park (Mineral west of Broadway a couple of miles on the south side) and you can go for miles and miles and miles. If you get to Colorado, you need to take a little detour before you get to Hampden. Head up Colorado on the street and go across Hampden, and pick the trail up again north of Hampden on the east side. This is because they do not let folks on the trail on Wellshire Golf Course.

MMPC, I was just in Este Park over the weekend and its beautiful up there now. Not all the leaves have changed yet, so hopefully that means if you want to go up there then you can still see some changes going on. I ran around Estes Park Lake on Saturday and got the BEAUTIFUL CHANCE to see the Elk out and around the lake IT WAS AMAZING. You could ride your bike around the lake if you want, its only like 4miles or so but its simple just amazing.
Gosh, I'm smiling now knowing that I live in BEAUTIFUL COLORADO!!!
