Before you die...
...what kind of bike do you want to own? Mine's a Litespeed Blue Ridge with full Ultegra. Well, one of them anyway.

Just about any of the bikes on Ray Dobbin's site, but if push came to shove, I'd have to go with this beauty:

Choose as many as you like, I was just wondering what everyone was fantasizing about.

Since I'm turning 50 in a few weeks, the thread title caught my attention (tick, tock).
I would want to have my old 1974 Raleigh Professional back again.
When I left my 15 year employment to start my own business, I went through a few hard-times along the way (as many do, of course). I had to sell my trusted and true ride (among several other items at the time) to put food on the table for a family of five, keep bills being paid, and keep a junker car running.
I've since posted in several places, including craigslist in phila, trying to find the owner to make a very generous offer to buy it back, and bring it back home. I know it's out there somewhere.
After so many hard and trying times building a business, it would be the thrill of my life to have it back home, and to hoist it onto the roof of my now Mercedes Sport Kompressor.

My old mid 60's Schwinn Varsity. Blue with white bar tape, Brooks saddle and rear rack.
