how good of a bike is this
Hi I have a 1987 ll bean bike it looks like a road bike frame. But with a thicker top and down tubes. But has a mtb handle bars. Its all aluminum and it hardware is sakae neck and seat post,levanter rims , maillandhubs (french made) die compe brakes and suntour le tech derailer and sun tour cc -3000 front derailer. Still has a good paint job and rides great. just wondering if it is a cheap bike or a good bike thanks for the help. P:S: the bike was free

Free is always good. Probably a rebrand. Aluminum is nice and Sakae, Maillard, Dia Compe & SunTour are all brand name components, sorry I'm not familiar with Levanter. Maybe someone can tell you where the LeTech & CC-3000 derailers sit in the product line-up.
All in all, if it fits, is in servicable condition and needs no work, I'd say you made out like a champ especially at the price you er, um... paid
