Helmet cams
Hi, wondered if you guys could help me out.
I'm looking for a helmet cam and have been reffered to ebay. This auction:
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MESE%3AIT&rd=1
seems good, as doe the video on the 4kam.com website. Just wondered if anyone here has purchased one?
Thanks J

^ Linky no workie! Doesn't bring up a product page, it just goes to the language selection page.
Besides, which product were you going to show? I hope it isn't that stupid Samsung blue/black mini camcorder. I had one and it works like crap. Video quality sucks, not enough memory to record and the battery lasts like 1/2 hour at most.
Terrible product for the price.

Yea assuming its a decent device you attach it too I think it should be fine. The camera N_C recommends though is no good as the recordings are very poor quality similar to a mobile phone video as far as I'm aware. The 4kam is used by some TV channel according to the website so I think I'll give that a go as that should be good quality.

Wouldn't the lens specs/quality make more difference than the camcorder, since the camera would basically only be acting as a storage device? I'm not sure.
www.pedalmasher.com check out the part of his site that goes over the equipment he uses to make his videos.
N_C's recomendation will not yeild quality video in the world of AV you do get what you pay for usually.
