Well, I guess I'm just old-school...we were probably one of the first half-dozen bike shops worldwide to have a Website, when we went onlin in 1995. I was using a 14.4 k modem back then so I've always been more into the content than the bandwidth hogging flash.

We don't have any adversising on the site except for the bicycle parts and accessories we sell, many of which are hard-to-find items. I do make an effort to keep the commercial section segregated from the informational section--lots of other folks in the business link to the informational pages (which is a boost for our search engine placement) and it only seems fair to not try to poach their customers.

And that's what I love about your site...I remember when a 14.4 modem was hot stuff...heck my first "online" experience was a BBS, using an acoustic coupler. It dirves me nuts to see scripting that misbehaves on non-microsoft browsers, requires admin priveleges to install flash player, etc.

Nice clean and simple, like a webpage should be.

Sheldon has done a lot for bicycling as a cause. The more information we get to people online, perhaps the more people will get pedaling, and that's always a good thing.
