About the cycling forums I visit:
I used to go to www.gearhead.com. I sometimes go to www.ridemonkey.com. I also frequent a couple of others.... rarely post on them though, just read them.
Bikeforums is by far the best I have seen.

I do use the Bicycling Magazine forum, BUT there is too much chest beating over there which starts really stupid flame wars, and they start very easily.

I also frequent the Bicycling Magazine forum. You're right, froze, lots of flames over there. I like Bike Forums better - better layout, better tips, nicer members.

I hang around cyclingforums.com, although not as much as I do here. I still occasionally drop in on f---edcompany.com, but it's really just for a cheap laugh.

I was on Gearhead.com. Can't even remember my user name but met some cool people on there, even went to the States for a a couple of festivals and a ski trip with some of the members.
