Tire selection

I have to make a decision today on the tires for my new Norco VFR 4 hybrid bike. Standard tires are 700 x28. The bicycle will be used on pavement and rail trails. There may be some loaded touring involved later on. I have used Continental Top Touring in the past and had very good luck with them on an extended tour. Really am not fussy about changing out wheels or tires for different rides
Any suggestions
Thanks

For road tires, I really like Panaracer Pasela TGs--I have 700x35s on my Atlantis and 32s on my Rambouillet. They're light, tough enough for an occasional gravel road (lots of those where I live) and roll really well. List is about $25, but they seem to go on sale a lot for $12.95 from Nashbar. I've used them for three or four years.
The TG (for Tour Guard) has a Kevlar belt. There's also a Pasela w/out the TG that lacks the belt and is about five bucks cheaper.
