I'd be more than happy for that, but I'd also like to keep a running total. Clint, I wonder what your plans are for the new year? Would it be possible to have a new column. Perhaps: YTD mileage and Total mileage? I'd love to look back in a year and two and see how much I've done since I started, but I'd also like to compare myself to the other team members on a yearly basis

Whent the new year starts you will see everything in your month listing section of the main cycling page.
I've got about 3 years of data (2001, 2002, and 2003) and it works out really well.

I have a quick question for you all... Would any of you like to write a little something on your thoughts on the site. I'm thinking I'd like to create a page of user comments about the site on the sign in page and I'd love to include you guys. Let me know your goals, how activebody helped, and etc...
Feel free to email them to admin@activebody.org
Thanks!

Let me think about it... I've got some other things people have asked for that I need to put in first... Perhaps in mid Jan.
Thanks for the question,
Clint

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the question, but it looks all good from this side. I've checked the logs and such and it seems people have been able to get in just fine.
Let me know if you are still having issues though and I'll try and help,
Clint

odd... I'm not a user of AOL so have to ask if you are browsing the web through AOL or using IE or some other form of browser.
I've opened it with IE, Netscape, and Firebird browsers with no issues. Perhaps clear the temp internet files and hit the page again? If you do have another type of browser you might want to try that as well.
Let me know what you find, but I'm seeing others gain access so I don't think it's on this side.

Still unable to get on - "Web Site not Responding" on two different computers, one Windows 98, the other Windows XP.
If I could identify the Cookie, I would remove it and try again, but I do not want to remove all the cookies at this time, just the Activebody one.
Any easy way to identify and remove the Activebody Cookie?
Otherwise, I will just give up. I can get on any other web site I might like. Activebody.org is the only one I have problems with!
Very strange!

Denver... Help me out by letting me know the following...
What URL do you see in the location when you see the message "web site not responding"?
Also, can you remember if you checked the "Remember Me" button at one point while entering the site.
ps - Forgot to ask if you have tried it from a different network as well

Denver,
You mentioned you were using AOL. Have you tried using the seperate Internet Explorer app on either of the two computers? If you could try this, it would help me understand some things.
Thanks,
Clint

Okay - cleared all but a few selected cookies, which seem to have cleared the cookie for Activebody.org, and was able to sign on.
Did NOT select the "save sign on" feature, and hope it works okay in the future, and will sign on manually.
Have updated my rides.
Thanks. Sorry for all the confusion.
Yes, I tried AOL 9.0. AOL 7.0, IE 5.1 - all to no avail. So, it somehow was a corrupted cookie???

Not sure Denver... but glad you were able to clear up the issue.
If it happens to you again please let me know, as well as keep track of what you were doing the last time you used the site. I'd like to know any kind of patterns to nail down any bugs.
Thanks,
Clint

yes, yes... I never liked being at the top anyway... something about being the site admin and being first place always bugged me. Glad Brendon is on board and he put in all his miles.

Does the site reset as of Jan 1st and record stats from 0 again for 2004? I'm hoping for between 12 and 13 thousand kilometres this coming year!

Hey Brendon...
Good job... you found a bug! It was introduced when I added the Gym section and nobody else found it (or emailed me). Should be fixed and enjoy the prefs area.
Come Jan 1, all the current year totals go back to 0, but you will see your 2003 totals in the main page if you have the "View Month Data Section" option checked in the prefs.
Thanks again for finding that bug,
Clint
