Clint - can you add a link to a calorie calculator?

Also, I got in 54 miles yesterday and today. Weather here is GREAT for riding, cool, crisp and sunny!

Send me the link and perhaps I'll just make one for activebody.

It's warmer here so I went out for a run instead of a bike ride. Just easy to get a quick run in instead of sit on a trainer for an hour. ick!

No trainer for me today. Real live biking!

The calculator I really liked has disappeared off the web.

So here is another

There are many out there. Just do a google

Clint I seem to have a problem I logged in the bike forum team but I didnt see my history, there was none. So I left the team and now I can't see my history. I dont mind starting the team with a fresh record but I dont want to lose my history as an Individual.

I managed to get a couple of rides in this weekend. I did 62 miles on Saturday with a great group and finished with an average speed of just under 19mph which I was pleased with, and managed to go out for a 30 mile jaunt this morning.
My wife has entered me in a century ride in March so I need to get the base miles waaay up if I am going to finish that in a respectable time.

At 64 yo, I don't care a hoot about my "respectable" time!
Simply finishing while there is still some daylight is good enough for me.

For most folks, a Century should not be a race, simply an accomplishment. Of course, it IS nice to finish in a reasonable period of time.

Works for me. I had some trouble a few days ago with the site - it was a bad cookie. I had to remove the cookie and now I sign in manually. Kept giving me error notices about the web site not responding. Perhaps you are having the same problems?

Yessss!! I have my first team member... So we could at least ride Tandem Lol....

MESSAGE to site boss... Are you happy with the team structure of the site, its just that the Bike forums team seems to me to be loaded down with riders, to the detrement of all the other teams, thus making it somewhat lopsided in view of any competiveness .
I suggest restricting the teams to "Alla" Tdf Formula of 9 riders and maybe sub dividing Bike forums teams into 1. 11. 111 and so on....

willic,
Users on ActiveBody.org can join more than one team. Personally, I kind of like the fact that Team BikeForums is so big. It carries some weight (literally and figuratively). Not sure that I'd be a fan of subteams. Then again, that's just me
