Next time someone yaks about Lycra, maybe a clue might be to check out their saddle . I use roadie style saddles, because they are considerably narrower and cause less contact with the legs as one peddles. Those who don't wear lycra probably have one of those super wide, fat seats because cadence is not something they worry about?

The clothing does not snag unlike normal clothes.
This guy had bloody concrete scratches on his arm.snag or no snag.It snagged and ripped.

It's a matter of the degree you get hurt. Anyhow.... I doubt anyone has done a study either way.
