+1 on the type of procedure. Guys posting here might have had their snip job this year or 20 years ago for all we can tell. A no-scalpel procedure is going to be (typically) a way faster recovery than one where they zip you right open to get in there. (Same thing with a hernia repair really--I had a buddy who'd had one, and he envied me mine--three tiny incisions. He got slit from stem to stern ten years before me!)
