Manhattan Portage bags???
anyone know or recomend these up against chrome and timbuk2? looking for laptop security for commuting/distance rides. any info would be great!

I've looked them over at shops. They seem ok,although they're left shoulder only,so they're out for me. Not all of them are totally weatherproof however,depends on which model you get.
Timbuk2's can be had for cheap on eBay and outlet sites. They also have a deal of the day on their website where each day they have a bag for 50%off. If you can afford it,Baileyworks are IMHO the best out there. Really nice strap(reversible on the Pro model),lots of pockets,tough wearing,and I've never had anything get wet even in pouring rain.
