We sell these at the shop I work at. It has most of the tools you'll need for quick roadside repairs.

Pretty sturdy? I'm window shopping for a new multi tool for a seat bag. Saw an interesting Park tool, as well.

I've only had to use mine once or twice over the past two years, but haven't experienced any (tool-related) problems to date. The quality seems to be quite good.

They all share one thing in common: They are fine for roadside adjustments/repairs. Even some mild-to-moderate shop work. But they should be left to the emergencies and small adjustments on the road. They will break if you tried to really torque down on something.

I have the bigger Topeak Alien II - it's got something like 26 tools. The Swiss Army of bike-bag tools (or on your belt). They actually put a pedal-wrench on it! It would be dead in a heartbeat if I tried to pull a pedal with it. Be fine for an emergency though - tight enough to get me home. Maybe. And the Topeak chain-tool is actually quite good. I've used it a few times and it did a fine job.

I have one. It has all the tools I need on the road. So far it has held up well, but I don't use it very often.... mainly just to tighten loose screws and maybe readjust the brake pads. I have used the chain tool and it works well. I have never used the tire "irons". They don't look like they would hold up too well.

Yeah, that was my concern, those tire levers. Small, compact, relatively light?
