storing away wheels

what do you guys do when you store wheels i have some rare ones and i was thinking of spraying them with wd 40 then putting them in pillow cases to keep them from scratching. you think its a good idea to store them in pillow cases?

Hang 'em on hooks in the garage.

Or, turn them into Wall Art.

Or, sell them.

LBS may get some new Wheels in, and then you can score the shipping boxes..

lawn waste garbage bags are Big.. Bigger than Pillow cases.

I just hang mine up out of the way, or if I'll be using them soon, lean them against a wall. I gave up trying to protect my bike stuff from every little scuff years ago.

I would spray the wd40 into a rag and then wipe it on. I don't think the wd40 is necessary, but I guess it could help. Just make sure when you store the wheels that they are in a dry environment.
