The first four letters of my last name. A nickname that has followed me for most of my life.

My screen name comes from the Trick Dog cafe in Irvington, Virginia.

Long story short...I do tech support for a major POS company and was helping one of our techs with some problems at the Trick Dog Cafe . I received a Trick Dog Cafe T-shirt in appreciation of my help so my fellow workers started calling me Trickdog and the name has stuck...albeit slightly shortened to Trickdog.

In my Quake and Unreal Tournament days, my proficiency with the rocket launcher earn me the name Blast Radius; direct hit not required for a frag.

Hey there fitmiss. Although I reside in the Poconos, PA I work in Hackensack, near the Riverside Square Mall. I like to ride my fixie during my lunch hour, dodging Main Street and Hackensack/River Rd traffic. Biking sometimes to Van Saun Park, or Cosmic Wheel In Ridgefield Park, or up Kinderkamak (sp?) to River Rd to the university etc. I'm married so I can't help you out on the single part

Quake and Unreal rocked! Back in my days at the Ottawa Business Journal, my boss would interrupt us every Friday night (which was when we would be putting the paper to bed) before he left, urging us for a "quick" round of Quake. This would eventually turn into 2 or 3 hours of frags and mass hysteria! Good times! Always regretted it though when we had to stay an extra 2 or 3 hours to finish the paper!

Lord Ganesha has helped lead me through many journeys. When I first signed up for an e-mail account years ago, I miss-spelled my log-in name as gonesh. The number 9 has always been a mystical number for me, as well as my soccer jersey number for many years.

My name came about as I was registering for the MTBR.com forums. I was interested in building up a singlespeed mountain bike and sought the knowledge of the folks over there. Since I was still in the process of searching for the mtb to build up and didn't have one yet, I registered the name "Pre-SS". After I built it up, I re-registered as PROGRE-SS since I was progressing as a singlespeed mtb rider. And since I'm always learning new things, whether it be regarding SS or fixed or life in general, I will be forever known as progre-ss.

When I signed up here at Bike Forums, I wanted to become a commuter, and my initials are KAT. Not very original, but it worked!

Back when the Sharks first came around here in San Jose I was one of many who caught Hockey Fever (why didn't anyone tell us about hockey earlier??). A couple years later when it was time to renew the plates on my beloved '86 Mustang GT I thought it deserved personalized plates... at the time the Sharks were just starting their 3rd season so SHRXWIN seemed like a very optimistic thing to say... I was going to add a plate frame that said 'Don't laugh it could happen'... of course we went to the playoffs that year, upset Detroit, almost beat the Leafs... sigh, good times! gave up the season tix a couple years ago and now barely watch on TV... But since it is my login everywhere I go online I figure I'll just keep the plates. plus they match my Teal Jimmy

Nice to "meet" you progre-ss Well if you know of any single cycle guys, send them my way. I live in Hackensack and work in NYC.

Perhaps we should have a singles bike forum going here.

So boring...

My children: Cannondale R1000, Cannondale Jekyll 400, another R1000. On other forums, I'm the name of my studio at work, cause that's how I answer the phone. On another, it's a nickname someone gave me years ago. Here, I'm just plain boring.

I used to dj or as my friend pointed it out 'blend noise'. I used it as my email and have found that usually nobody has this name registered so it stuck because of ease of use.

Bikes: 96-97 Gazelle Medeo.

Mine means "extraterrestrial" in russian language.

I choose this name about 6 years ago and now use as a habbit.

It also has some sense of mystery, unknown, which is what I have always liked...

Respectfully,
Mikhail.

P.S. Cool thread.

I've had this handle since my days in the Dungeon (IRC chat) back in 1996. The origin? It was raining, but "rain" didn't look right.

WOW where do you find "hollow state devices"?
