Yeah....switched out my Fizik Pave for a Performance Forte Pro SLX and love it. Best saddle I've had yet.

I would think about a brooks but they have to be the ugliest saddles out there save for the spongy wonder that was posted on the previous page. They just look like seats off an 1918 bicycle and really out of place on new machinery... but, then again you don't look at it while riding it and I might feel otherwise if I used one and if they are as comfortable as people rave.

I ride a Fizik Arione on my rode bike and went with a Fizik Gobi on the mountain bike. I guess I now have brand loyalty? I have ridden a few different saddles and truly like the Arione, you can break it in quickly, and it fits my large (Clydesdale) rear. Both saddles are comfortable and I believe worth the price.

Mine's a Serfas Cosimos and I'm going to get another for backup-it's so comfortable. I tried 2-3 before I found one that felt good. The mechanic said that there are two types of riders. Some like the saddles with the long split, like the one above and the rest like the Serfas. It has a depression that starts at the back, then widens to a pool in the center.

Brooks here. Swift titanium.
Visited Canada with saddle and at the local LBS was kind of not taken that seriously until I returned with borrowed bike sorted out but wanted a mirror. Owner takes one look at the Brooks and his whole demeanour changed.
I tried a fair few saddles too before asking the long distance guys what they used and as I had already tried the other suggestion I was left with the Brooks. Works for me!

I generally gravitate towards saddles with the groove in the middle (I'm very protective of my twig and berries). Any thoughts on that? Maybe brooks?
