This article is from 2007. Also who wrote it, a junior high student? That is some terrible writing.

Oops missed the date. I assumed since it came up at the top of the search it was recent. Well looks like it happened again and I assume the same area of Pittsburgh since this accident happened in the university area and the person recently hit was a professor. I thought the guy in the pic looked a little young to be a professor.

The PG is not exactly know for it's well written articles.

Here is the recent article

https://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2012/...ycle-accident/

The professor is retired. The area where he was hit is not far from the 2007 incident.

I am beginning to believe that all journalism schools have been closed. Our local television websites don't contain news articles written by journalists. I assume it has to be a cost cutting measure, get a volunteer from the local grade school to write your articles for you.

Now they depend on low paid content providers.

Bikes: I never learned to ride a bike. It is my deepest shame.

The problem is not that they closed the journalism schools. The problem is that they opened them in the first place.
