Does the shape of adapters matter?
Hi, currently I have 160mm rotors on the front and rear of my Carrera Crossfire 2, I want to upgrade my discs so I thought I'd go with 180mm rotors, I was looking at adapters but does the adapter have to be the same shape of my 160mm adapters or can I buy any 180mm adapter. Also, can anyone recommend any 180mm rotors? Thanks.

shape is about function , not looks
[IF] standard post mount caliper, and ISO mount on the frame ,
the adapter choice is different on the rear than the front to achieve the same disc size,
you realize? .. they are usually marked as such 140r/160f, 160r/180f etc.
so the rear moves to the front and you buy a new rear adapter ..
