It must be spring !

Today I put the bike with studded tires to rest for the season. I put two bikes in the way so I can't get it easily. I did a 60 mile ride on a bike with skinny tires. It must be spring. Right ?

I took some photos .... It MUST be spring. !@#$%^&* RIGHT ??

the photos....

It's not really Spring until trashy young girls start running around in halter tops and Daisy Dukes. That's when I know it's Spring! We ain't quite there yet.

What's this "spring" you speak of?

I did a 20 km ride today in the midst of a snow flurry with the temperature at -8C/17.6F.

Come to Alabama, there have been sightings already. If you're real lucky, they'll have their original teeth.

I'm trying to force it to come, by acting like it's here.

Now if everyone did it !! It would just have to get here ! ? RIGHT ??

does the desperation show?
It's supposed to snow here tomorrow. During the local spring bike show and group ride.

Ah yes, Canada the great white north - except for this little slice of heaven called lotus land. Moved here three years ago from ontario. It has been a beautiful winter this year - mild, sunny (February broke a sunshine record) and everythings been blooming for the last couple of months - and the riding! I can't believe this city isn't 30 million people, in other words, the whole of Canada - it doesn't get much better than this up here - hoping to ride my life out here.

Yes, it is indeed spring. Yesterday, 03-19-05 temps. reached 75+. But by 6:30 pm storms were moving across central Texas & we received 2" of rain plus some marble sized hail. 15 miles away from me golf ball sized hail was falling. Today, it's back in the high 70's again. Forecast for tomorrow? More rain again. It's all good though. The Indian paintbrushes, pink primroses & bluebonnets (wildflowers) are absolutely gorgeous right now. Plus it looks like there will be a good crop of wild blackberries again this year.
Gotta' love spring.

I'm a grad-student in a one-bedroom apartment. My living room breakdown is:
Couch: 33% of room
MTN Bike + Road Bike: 33% of room
TV: 33% of room

So you'll have to sleep on top of the bike.

If you lose the couch, thus increasing the space by 33%, you could get two more bikes in there. That would increase the bikes by 100%. Now that's a deal !!

That's the only kind of math I'm good at.

I'll sleep in the hall. The bikes need protection.
