Ok it is time to go over this again .....
If you use it to stop it is a BRAKE
If you are tired you take a BREAK
If you have used you bike to get from point a to point b you RODE it
The surface you were on to do it is the ROAD

Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.

I'm still trying to convince people that "alloy" isn't a synonym for "aluminum". I'm losing.

I don't have enough energy to tackle "break" and "brake".

Bikes: Felt F75(2014), Specialized Langster(2009). In the past I have owned a 2013 Felt F5 and a Schwinn Phocus 1400. I'm still looking for my stolen Giant Revel 1.

At a red light you come to a stop.
When you hit the guy in front of you, you have crashed.

So, if you use your bike to sell things, you are a "pedaling peddler".

It depends. If you're selling pedals, you're a pedaling pedal peddler. If you're selling flowers you're a pedaling petal peddler.

And how about those apostrophes?

I'd be happy if people posting ads on CL could spell "Schwinn" correctly. It's already on the side of their bike. How hard can it be?

spdracr39, I'm rooting for you. (Not, by the way, routing for you.) But I don't expect you can win.

If your brakes break, you may break your bike and have to take a break from cycling; but if your brakes brake, you won't break your ass, but you may break the wind if you are aero, or break wind from your ass....
