Oh, what the junk! Anyhoo, I'll see you some other time, as Wednesday and Friday are the days of the week that it is 100% impossible for me to take off.

Coldest morning yet, I think, for Columbus, did 20 in, over-layered a little. Should be nicer on the way home, near 60 deg.

After being in ATL for a week, riding here is like being in Anchorage; yet, I rode twenty something miles yesterday in the cold. Amazingly, a lot of folk were out on the Tow path, and I did not look so much like a nut who could not tell the weather. As I look out today I realize it is snowing. S-n-o-w-i-n-g! Yep!

wtf

14 miles this morning. Radar was ominous and the temps were cold. Not a good mix. I beat the rain by about 20 minutes.....

10/13 35 miles. It was hard to convince yourself to go out today, cold and windy, but once dressed and out the door it wasn't all that bad.

Rough rough 20 in, legs feel like they have been beatin' by baseball bats! Plus the chill & headwind didn't help at all. Here's to a better ride home.

25 minutes on the trainer then "abandoned". I think the staff infection is back, sore everything once again and burning lungs. Crap, I'm getting the Brown's players disease.

2x20@VO2 w/2m RI, + WU and CD. On the trainer. CD cut short to make it to my daughter's volley ball game.

Someone needs to revive that trainer thread, sadly.

You mean you suck like heck and no matter what coaches you get, you still suck?

10/14 10 miles, wife did a solo ride, I was busy with my team, so I rode out and meet her on her ride.

BTW I'm the new head coach of a local High School Swim team, so my mileage is going to suffer and the likelyhood of making my 10,000 is in jepordy, I'm at 8500 right now, it's gonna be close. I need the weather to get better. On the up side I've been working out with them and getting in some serious cross-training. My body HURTS!!! LOL!

I've been on the the trainer 3 nights a week for 6 weeks now.
Been doing high gear x high resistance level intervals in an effort to HTFU.
Currently at 2 sets x 5 reps x 5 minutes with 1 min. rest between reps.

Looking forward to purchasing a heart rate monitor shortly, then I'll know where I really stand.

Dead or alive, I'll be ready for fast group rides this spring.

I'll not be the one. Been watching to see who does.

Passed 2500 miles for the year this past weekend.
I'd really like to make it 3000, hopefully the weather will begin to cooperate.

Cheers.

Be careful that you don't over do it with the HIT's so often. The more intense the interval the longer the recovery time. With your attitude you just may be leading the fast group ride next spring.

Only 53 minutes of cyclocross, thank God!

I saw Mitch in the "maze of mud" ( the worst 1.5 minutes of my life x 5), didn't get a chance to say "hey".
