Oh NO!!!

You know Tyler would still ride
Maybe a good upgrade for your ride would be Zipp training wheels?
Heal up quick bud!

Get the expensive deluxe sling with a foam block between your arm and side, it does a much better job of holdng your collarbone in alignment,
DONT run or ride for at least 3 weeks or until xrays show that is is healing. The 5 dollar sack sling that I got in the ER didn't help, not did running after 1 week. Long story short it never healed and required an expensive surgery with an amazingly painful bone graft taken from my hip and a metal plate...after 4 month of pain.

colorchange, Soooo!!! You had to one up me today!!!!! Go to the did you ride thread and see a nice picture taken by gary1 right after my little accident and if you scroll down I give you a little detail on how I managed to tear myself up.
BTW, good luck with your recovery, hope all goes well. Leinad

Just wondering since I dissed the Swedish Days ride and then got the worst stomach virus ever. Seriously, I am sooooo sorry. I'm not sure what this means for your riding season but I hope you're not out all summer.
I won't be there Tuesday but maybe you'll spill all the details after then.

OK, this is damn funny (now). A little preview. After it happened, I end up standing in the ditch. I then realize something is not right. I sit down and look over at my left shoulder,, then my right shoulder. My right shoulder is sitting like 3" below my left and I look at the ground to see that I am level. ... Uh oh... then I see about a 1/2 inch protrusion out the front of my jersey. Then I know ... Damn@!
My next question to the guys gathering ... "How's my bike?"
I don't know for sure till I partially dissasemble and ride it but so far, scratched the RD (the only RED component I have yet to mount).
I'll do a full dump after my penance on Tuesday night.

Sucks about the collar bone
...and you were afraid of criteriums. See...it can happen anywhere.
If you end up working on the rig before Tuesday just make sure you don't wash it....

Heal fast.
I heard the best recovery is lifting heavy weights above your head.
Ok, don't do that. I was kidding.

I can feel your pain... my collarbones have not matched since '71.
From the "damn that must have hurt" file...

On the bright side, everything works and my right shoulder actually has more mobility than my left.
