Smokin, collarbone is pretty good. I'm up to 15 pushups and can ride without thinking about it.
I will be up with the family at the Dell's for a vacation so won't be available on Friday for dinner.
What are the ride day plans? Are we going to ride together (at least start)?
Finally, where should we go for "after the hell" beers?

I was thinking Brewery Creek would be small for our group if everyone wanted to go to dinner.

I am out for this event and probably any others for the remainder of the year. My wife and I have decide to reconcile our marriage and things are going very well for the both of us. That isn't what is preventing me from riding. We have decide to move and our thinking of buying a house on 5 acres in the Harvard area. She has always dreamed of owning a couple of horses. So I have been busting my butt around our house so that it can go on the market very soon.
Good luck to you all.
Good luck to you all.

+1 - figured something was up...hadn't heard from you in a while. Well you still have a bike and you know where we are so when you need to get out for a morning and pound some pavement I might actually be able to keep up with you.

Congrats Rowdy, best of luck and this reduces the odds I'l lead you off course again, not that you were planning on taking directions from me again.
Have a great ride everyone, hope to spot you. I'll look for the BFNIC jerseys.
If you see me on my unmarked blue vintage steel 10-speed, I'll be in a hurry (for me, anyway). I got trash-talked into racing my co-worker again, the same guy who smoked me on the HHH. We'll see if I can even things up this time.

Did you ever see/read Paper Lion? There was a part when the team put lead insoles into George Plimpton's shoes. I think this may be a good tactic for you. Find trash-talking coworker's bike shoes. Insert lead insoles. Ride like heck.

Should we plan a time to meet at Harris Park on Saturday morning to roll out? We're all doing the 200k except Superman, right?

Niets ... It will be a game day decision if I make it all the way to 200k, so I'm between 100k and 200k, inclusive.

Correct. This is how I feel. Not really in love with the whole "suffer all day long like a dog in the sun or rain" mode.

You can definitely leave the 100K vs 200K "moment of truth" until late in the game. Even if you go for the 200K and find that you just don't have enough in the tank you can cut off the section to Clyde and follow the 100K route back to the finish via Pleasant Ridge, which would be about 133K. The actual 133K route has you adding 33K at the very end. So many choices!
I'll try to be there early enough for the 6am rollout to say "hello", but no guarantees. You've probably noticed that I tend to show up a bit late to these events. More than likely I'll get started around 6:30. Have a good ride, everyone!

hi all... I've been MIA... been biking in Montana/Canada
I am scheduled for the Dairyland Dare, yay!!, and so is racebrat. We have a campsite at Governor Dodge for both nights... can someone say beer
I am probably going to do the 133K... and racebrat might do more, not yet sure...
We will probably get there late Friday (after 7:30pm or so).
Maybe we will see you on the road.
If anyone is camping, let us know... the more the merrier for beer, the better!
