Been fighting left knee/hamstring issues for weeks and therapy didnt help much. Time to get back on the bike and say to heck with the pain. Cowboy up and ride dangit.

Sore from playing tennis for over 3 hours. I can serve and hit a backhand if I don't extend my shoulder too much (reach too high). If I do, my strength goes from weak to zero. It's really funny. My opponents kept trying to hit high shots to my backhand. Hurt like he**. The good news is I can still serve OK. With a little work (proper exercises) I think I'll be able to play tennis.

...getting faster. i've been doing computrainer workouts at a facility in arlington heights a couple times per week. just took 3 minutes off of my 10k time trial in 6 weeks.

Woa ... I'm getting way slower ... just can't get on the trainer ... mental block. Grrrr.

...just getting back to riding after a couple of months of staying up late watching 10 seasons of SG1. Wii Fit says I gained over 15lbs in the last 33 days So I rode into work this morning...holy crap I'm slow. This is going to be painful getting back into shape for the BFNIC group rides.

i'm also really tired of seeing this ad. people think i'm looking at NSFW images at work...

I've got a notably more optimistic outlook. Too much gloom in this thread. I just set my personal best 20 minute average power for a trainer, only 9 watts off my outdoor peak last summer. It was kind of a weak point last year though.

I really don't care what color my hair turns as long as it stays in my head. So far so good.

1) Glad I don't have kids yet.
2) Enjoying the way my legs feel after my first road ride of the year. Only 15 miles, but it's a start.

on day 11 of being sick. Started out with horrible fever and flu, which has now turned into a secondary infection of bronchitis and sinus infection... great

Other than a few days I have made it to work, I have been in bed. I am not happy about this!

....wondering who hates me. 35 feels like 25 with 15 mph winds at 730am. later.
