so i found out the freehub on my eastons is 10spd shimano only. When deciding whether to get easton to send a new freehub body for $75, I may have went a little crazy. I think I may be going 10spd.

You could go to 11.... everything should go to 11.

That's stupid....Why would they do something like that********** :crash:

not sure. But I think I may be going ultegra SL shifters, FD, RD, and a new cassette, and keeping everything else(truvativ crank, tektro brakes). Still have to crunch numbers and go over other options. And bike authority still hasnt recieved the rebuild kit from RST yet... That rays season pass bought me a nice empty spot in the bike room.

garysol1 12-09-08 08:14 PM

I am using Ultegra SL on the #2 bike. I have been uber happy with it.

If you need anything, don't be afraid to hit me up.

oh boy.... a whole day of surfing online and thinking about things.... I am gonna go crazy.

Crazy thoughts have entered my mind even- the ones that rhyme with bampagnolo- those thoughts have come up several times during the day , Cram, and Gimano. I need to decide things soon.

You were always the jealous one, Scott. You saw that I was getting Sram so you had to have it. You'll stop at nothing to win!

No mirrors, lots of hand gestures, pure trust in those who you race with, balls of steel.

Here's me from 2005, my last year racing;

Karting was fun, but I'd rather race a bike any day; I'm better at it too.

Thanks, the frame was a 2003 Birel, with tons of nice, shiny, anodized CNC'ed parts on it. Yamaha KT100 2-stroke engine with a "can" exhaust to restrict flow because of my age/class.

And I assume you mean the headline pic on my blog? It's a track bike, it'll be my training bike next season; the geometry and handling are good for Madison/Points Race though, so it might get use through that.

Is it unnatural for me to live in Michigan but still want to see the Lions get beaten like narcs at a biker rally? They are on the verge of something remarkable here. Each missed tackle and dropped ball has me giggling like a loony person.

You don't even know how hard I worked to get intot he most aero position on that kart, as well as lightening it as much as possible. You see; I weighed 200 lbs at that time and when I had to be weighed with the kart, I was always overweight.

Who isn't?

What horse power does a cart like that have?

CrimsonKarter21 12-15-08 11:39 AM

With the restricted exhaust "can" and the airbox, it put out about 10 hp
With the unrestricted exhaust pipe and a K&N air filter, it put out around 13-14hp

I loved racing unrestricted, 14,000 rpm was the norm on a long straight.

nocondorfx 12-15-08 06:43 PM

ran 5.5 miles tonight. I only wore shorts. Bad Idea. It got cold down there!
