I'm helping to tear down afterwards and I promise to not be sober. I think I am only racing 30+ this time.

We've gone to this spot each year and are never disappointed. I suspect we'll be there this Sunday. Get's my vote as Official St. Charles Cross Race Pub.

We did a "bandit" course last night. It was crazy. Really wet and covered with leaves with a hill big enough to lose traction every single time up.

Fun stuff. Thanks MJH2 for helping to set it up.

This weekend I will be staying after the race to help tear down and clean up. After that I will be heading out for drinks and food for sure. I brought up McNally's last night to luke warm reactions. I will play it by ear but I'd love to hang out with you guys afterwards.

Also...thinking of registering for 4b's this week just for poops and grins.

Psi,

Do you have any costume contests, formal or informal, at the race? I'll happily throw in a couple of 6 packs of decent beer as prizes.

nero...Indeed....in....deed.....I am already looking forward to it.

Flanders - I know that there will be a lot of surprises - same as every other course/race this year. I believe there will be prizes of some sort for different things. I don't remember all the details and couldn't tell you if I did...or I would be made to walk the plank.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGh.

It certainly seems so. This is starting to get embarrassing. :-) Rodrigo confirmed he'll be there sunday, so I have someone to race again.

No flaming coffin barriers at Washington Park in Milwaukee this year (we could have used the heat!), but there was a good turnout and some great racing anyway.

Will be in St. Charles tomorrow.

Yo ... what's the best way to get to the St. Charles race from Wisco El Norte?

Is this it? https://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...,0.883026&z=10

Awesome race in ILL. Absolutely *GREAT* superfanning! Pix shortly after I change my pants ... I almost bagged an 8 point deer on the highway. Had I been in the right lane ...

I don't even want to think about it.

Ugh. Well that was fun. I was dead last.. something tells me doing a 15 mile ride yesterday wasn't in my best interest. It was fun seeing the kids in costumes though.

I really liked the course, though at this rate, I think I just might run into a course I can't finish. The mudholes were tons of fun. :-) I had a mini camera crew out there, and I got pictures of everyone in the 4b's.

Now you might ask why I'm posting at 3:30am? My legs are twitching. Ugh.
