Replacement Carbon Fork

Hey Guys. I have been kicking around the idea of getting a replacement carbon fork for my Specialized Crosstrail Sport Disk. I know a few have done this.

Can you point me in the right direction of a decent carbon fork that will accuratpfit for around $130ish?? Anything less would be fine of course but dont want something thats gonna have problems.

Thanks

I don't think you will get a quality rigid carbon fiber fork for that price. I changed my suspension fork for a carbon fiber about 18 months ago and it cost me between $300-400. My Trek DS required a straight steerer tube and I found out manufacturers were building tapered steerers. You will need a suspension corrected fork which will accept disk brakes.

I had a Nashbar house brand fork that was decent. Got it on sale for $100. Was going to use it for a project, but didn't get around to it and wound up selling it. It also had canti posts,so you'd have empty posts sticking out if that's a big deal. Several other forum users have used them and given them decent reviews.

The Origin 8 former Black Ops now called Lever 2 is a fit for that bike. I have one on mine and am pleased. Highly proven fork
There is a company, which I forget the name of, out of Ohio which has a bunch of carbon parts and forks about the same
They may be in your price range
Good luck
