Bike computer with GPS
I would like to upgrade from the basic Cateye Wireless computer to a computer with GPS capability so that I map routes. Since Strava is a paid service, I probably will not use it.
Any recommendations for computers? Garmin is out of my price range. The Cateye Padrone and Lezyne GPS look like good options.
Thanks!

There is a premium version of Strava, but I use the ree version, and quit happy with it. Also if you use Chrome browser there are some nice third party add ons.

After the routing API seemed to quit working in my favorite desktop app, I finally bit the bullet and moved to the cloud yesterday. I chose ridewithgps free version at least to start. I found it very intuitive and easy to upload past rides and creating a couple of test routes. One heads up if you want you routes/rides private, set that as default in your account before uploading. Free version doesn't support group edit/delete.
