Thanks for that little video!
Thanks to the USAF, I spent 5 years on two different tours in the Tokyo area back in the late 60's/early 70's. The pictures that I have seen of the Tokyo area recently are almost unrecognizable, but that video looks just like the Japan that I remember. Thanks again for the trip down memory lane.

Vintage look with the leather saddle and curved tubes. Somehow reminds me of an early motorcycle.
Some pics I took yesterday. Connecticut and K.

1) I see helmets hasnt become a habit. 2) cool variety in bikes. Women on a Bianchi mixte - relaxed to say the least!

Odometer just hit 1k miles (but the bike has about 1100mi on it.. I accidentally reset the cyclocomputer at the 100mi mark)!
Oh and some pics of where I was today, so I don't seem like I'm bragging .
This was a poem on the wall where the Cherry Creek (manmade creek) meets the Platte River.
This was written on a pillar by the platte river.

I like that last shot. What are you doing in Australia?
Edit:  I just realized that's the Australia Embassy, which resides in the US. I feel stupid.

It's a Torii Gate which represents the entrance to a Shrine.
Basically we have two major beliefs here, Shinto and Buddhism. Shinto >> Shrine ........ Buddhism >>> Temple.
We have over 3000 temples and shrines in Kyoto. This city would blow your mind. Imagine seeing the Samurai foot prints in blood on floors, Temples with no nails still standing after 700 years, tea ceremonies, Women wearing Kimonos, beautiful Geiko and Maiko....that's KYOTO.

Anyone notice the odd brifters on bullhorns? I don't think I've ever seen that done before.

Sorry for the blurry picture, I took it while walking at night (the shutter had to be open longer because it was at night).
It seems to be some sort of pedal-powered, street legal beer/hookah lounging vehicle. I saw it while walking to the car from tonight's Colorado Rockies game. I went with my friend and his dad for a sort of birthday celebration for his 16th birthday. BTW, they won by 7. The score was 13-6. They played against the Florida Marlins.
What's this? You want a picture during the game? Sure you got it! (The Rockies are in white and the Marlins are in black).

Welcome to the forums! You should post that in the "Post Pictures of your Hybrid" thread! 300mi/mo is very good!

Nice pics! I've seen a few pictures of those beer powered buses. I didn't know they existed in the USA. Shooting in low light is always tough. The picture inside the park came out nice.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.... I was on one of those bikes a few weeks back when I was in DC on business.
