This is the Trans Australian railway it crosses the whole continent west to east.

This is the same line at the end of Googs track and 1000km from the last pic. I crossed approx 300 sand dunes to get here.
That red sand looks very familiar

There's nothing quite like going bush for a couple weeks at a time. There's some nice trails around the Gammon Ranges I really want to do camping with the MTB but tied up right now with commitments.

I was meeting up with friends, so I laid my bike down on the non drive side, and it started to rain. It wasn't raining very hard, so I wasn't worried about my bike. A friend noticed the rain "shadow" and suggested I take a picture. Here it is:

New to the forum. But here's a Crappy picture of my 2012 giant rapid composite. My white aerospokes will be on by the weekend, to go with a giant carbon flat bar and maybe Giant slr carbon stem.

Upgraded seat to a selle italia max gel
Two Blackburn white gloss carbon cages.

He probably lost the crank bolt a while ago and didn't notice, and he just worked it off the bb spindle over time.

I think that's how it happened. Crank arm cracked in the process. Real bummer.

Check your other crank bolt with a torque wrench. Make sure it's tight. I assume you'll be replacing the crankarm. You can buy just a left crankarm.

Very nice bike ! The Giant Rapid is one kick ass FBRB. I have the predecessor to the Rapid, being the Giant FCR1. Hard to beat, including the aesthetics.

Thanks. I couldn't find the original Shimano 739 Crankarm and settled for a newer model Shimano 750. Seems to work ok. Different finish.

I missed my regular Sunday ride to watch my other favorite bikes at the Australian Off Road Championships. I should have taken my MTB as it would have been easier getting around the 15km a lap course spectating "bad back"

I shot as many pictures of people riding bikes as I could in an hour, from my balcony, Sunday shortly before sunset.

There was about 1 bike every minute on average. Some were too quick to capture!

I hear you, The female and a older joey from last breeding season live permanently at my home and are fairly use to me but with the new joey just out of the pouch three males are around to protect it so it's harder getting close.

While riding through the city today I notice some more RC boat racing and couldn't resist some pic's.
I prefer and fly planes but anything with nitro motors is good viewing.

Don't worry these guys weren't near the action.

Took the road bike today so no pic's of that.
Bee Hive corner marks the very center of Adelaide. Only a few years ago the original bee fell off after being there more than a 100 years and was replaced.

Full moon at midnight last night.

This guy stopped holding up traffic so I could get a pic front on then realized when getting home it was badly out of focus.

The one I saw had the same nudge bar at the front but the interior was black.
This is the 1972 Australian Charger 100% made down under.

Seeing that Orange Charger brings back memories...said there were 320 used during the TV series. This is the very first jump of the very first "General Lee" Charger on the campus of Oxford College in Oxford, Georgia, for the very first episode of The Dukes of Hazzard TV series. The Charger spent the next 22 years in junkyard purgatory after its hard landing.

It got restored and sold at an auction early this year for $110K to Pro Golfer Bubba Watson.

Couple more of the many that flew!
