Just wondering if anyone has this setup and how it works out? I'm considering it, but would like other suggestions on what others are using.

It would be for the longer weekend rides to be able to pack some things for the day like a windbreaker, food, spare tube, and a couple tools.

I think a normal rack would serve you better unless you're looking for something you can remove easily when you want to travel light.
