good morning! just came from a ride, detoured thru the park rode the trails
Realized I need a better tire, I have New Raleigh Route 4.0 with Kenda Kouriers
700 x 40 There fine on the roadway which is most of my ride, but I'd like something with a bit more grip on the corners, The trails are a redish cinder, small gravel mix. I have looked at a few websites and it is overwhelming, I cannot afford more than $25 or so per tire

have you tried different air pressures in them, this may make a difference in how they perform.

How much more grip are you want? push it too far and you'll be on a mountain bike tire. Do you think a reverse tread design will give you the grip required? Might want to start there, at least it will help limit your search.

Tire options are mind boggling I agree.
