Cateye Installation?

Where do you mount your wireless transmitter and magnet? High on the fork or near the hub? Is there an advantage for either place?

Bikes: Specilized Crosstrail Comp, Canondale Synapse

Place the sender as high as possible on fork.This is where my instructions said would be the best location.

Yes, the less distance between the sender and receiver, the more reliable the wireless connection.

High enough so that you are easily within the minimum recommended distance but be careful, for if your rim flexes in a sprint, the magnet may hit the sensor, so you don't want it too high.
