Could be a hint of a trend ....

It's only the first couple days in April. Spring hasn't quite arrived in Montreal and the rest of the country probably isn't much different. So its a bit of a surprise to discover that all the 2013 production Cannondale Bad Boy 5's and 9's have been sold out already. Four more were ordered in a couple weeks ago - two were sold over the phone before we even had a chance to build them up.

But I did think those and the Giant Seeks were pretty nice packages.

That's one of the shortfalls of the bike industry supply chain. They only get one shot to guess how many bikes they will sell for the whole model year.

Right you are - and talk about marketing being out of touch with the marketplace!

Well - we currently sold out now too!

A young fellow came in the store with his dad asking about the Bad Boy 9 bike posted on the website and after seeing it - said he'd think about it. I mentioned it was the last one we had available - he must have thought it was a sales pitch - said he'd take his chances.

The next guy through the door had taken a taxi to the store specifically to get here before closing. Those two people probably passed each orher going in and out the door! Except that the second guy was a lot less indecisive and left with the bike!
