Looking to go clipless
I was looking at the Shimano A530 or the M324 pedals, I would like a duel sided pedal on my hybrid so I can do a short jaunt down the road with out putting on special shoes. I would also like to have a recessed cleat so I can walk in the bike shoes if needed. Any opinions on these two pedals? Any suggestions for shoes would be appreciated as well.

You may want to check out this thread https://www.bikeforums.net/archive/in.../t-677820.html.
The 24s are like regular platform pedals, meaning you could add reflectors, toe clips, cages and they're wider. The 30s are streamlined.
These are the updated version of the clipless shoes I use, but I use them in spin class only. https://www.zappos.com/shimano-sh-m08...zap_brand_page Easy to walk in, but I'm no fan of clipless overall.

The 530s are sleek, but as mentioned in this thread, don't have a grippy surface on the platform side. Not a big deal for just going around the corner.
There are zillions of recessed cleat SPD compatible MTB and commuter shoes. The key is finding the ones that fit your feet and budget. Time to go shopping.
