New from S Jersey
Hi Bike Forums,
I've been looking for a new bike and this forum has provided so much helpful information, I thought I'd better join.
I live in S Jersey and bike both trails and on the road locally. I currently ride a Trek 4300 MTB but my desire for longer rides has got me in the market for a hybrid (thus the searches that have led me here). I've always loved riding but have become more serious in the past four years. I generally do 25-35 mile rides either at a local park (5-mi packed gravel), or along the beach (mostly road). I recently completed my first Five Boro Bike Tour (NYC), and enjoyed it so much, I've already signed up for the Discover Hudson Valley Ride (55 mi) in late June.
I'm here to learn more about maintenance and safety, hear about local events, and just poke around for good information.
