A great start. As a new member you will find that you have limited privileges until you have made 10 posts divided over 2 days. Are there any cycling clubs in your area? Good clubs are invaluable if you want to find people to ride with. I have been a member of a club in my area for 30 years and I was very experienced when I joined. My club has a website with hundreds of maps all over the region where I live, most of which can be downloaded into a GPS bike computer. The yearly calendar for the club has multiple rides every week during the summer here. We have road, gravel and even mountain bike rides
