New to the forum
Hello, glad to be here.
I remember the bike boom. I paid $75 for a ten speed from Italy (Ganna, not well known) at a garage sale back in the late 70's when I was in high school. Unfortunately it was stolen after a couple years but by then I had pretty much given up on riding anyway.
Fast forward to yesterday, thought I'd stop at a local garage sale just to see what they had. Picked up a Fuji Sagres from what looks to be the mid 80's for all of $15. Online brochure shows the color as "Diamond Blue".
I started some clean up and it's actually in decent shape for a 40 year old bike. Can ride it as is, but will get at least a better seat and new bar tape before too long. Will search the forum as far as maintenance goes... I have some basic tools and can tinker but that may only get me so far. Nothing wobbles, tires hold air, and levers do what they should.
Will just use it around town. I actually haven't been on bike in... well, quite awhile.
