I live in Petaluma, California.

I got my first road bike - a 2005 LeMond Tourmalet - last tuesday, sept 28.

about a month ago i decided i wanted to ditch my car and just ride; seeing as i live in a relatively "small" town which is pretty friendly to bikes. i made the choice for both health and environmental reasons.

i grew up riding BMX so biking is familiar to me, though i havent ridden seriously for at least 9 years.

anyways, after a tune-up, a flat, and a new set of more durable tires, i just completed my first real ride; and it was awesome.
