Hello From Princeton, NJ

Hi everyone. I’m a new guy here and although I haven’t ridden in about 5 years due to a car accident, I used to ride a lot. I have a ’97 Klein Adroit frame that I have had for about 7 years, and I am just starting to build it now so that I can get back to riding. For MT biking, I like XC and trails.

I am now also looking into road bikes because I have taken a few spinning classes at the guy and really enjoyed it, plus I think that I might be able to get out more on a road bike, so, like I said… I’m looking into it. Also, my company does a lot with charities and they are always doing charity rides and I would like to participate, but I think that I might look funny with my mountain bike and cargo shorts.

I look forward to discussing biking with you guys and gals, and hope that I don’t annoy you too much with my questions.

Thanks,

Fred

Hello Fred, it's pretty hard to annoy most of us with questions, but do try and use the search function before asking if possible. You can also look through the stickies at the top of each individual forum's page--there's generally quite a bit of information in the stickies.

Where are you located? We have a number of regional forums, with members far and wide, international too!

And if you just need a good laugh, there's always Foo.

Welcome to BF!

Lots of great road riding along the Delaware River (Rte 29) and up onto the ridges--Frenchtown, Milford, Sergeantsville, etc. The Princeton Free Wheelers do a big event every year, but you should definitely come to Bucks County October 14, 2007, from the Central Bucks Bike Club's annual Covered Bridges ride (https://ww.cbbikeclub.org/?body=cover...8b493e020a25e). Also some nice riding around Burlington.

Welcome Fred.

Mount Holly, Burlington County here. Similar situation. Mountain biker trying to give road riding a try becuase the road is more readily available than good trails down by me. Enjoy the forum.

Would have helped if I'd read the header, eh?

Former Mt. Holly-ite here. Lived in Mt. H, Lumberton & Vincentown. Spent a lot of my formative years cycling rural Burlington County.

Glad to see my hometown is represented!
