Hi from Belgium
I'm Brecht, male and 29 years old. I'm living in West-Flanders in Belgium, Europe. Right now I'm riding a 12 year old Venturelli hybrid bike, I have an old Raleigh roadbike at the attic in need of some heavy cleaning and I'm longing to buy a Spezialised Sirrus / Trek FX / something similar.

Very nice! I like the Arabesque components...are you going to tone down the bar tape?

I'm actually considering converting the Raleigh into a fixie. Probably with a flat bar...
And after wandering through these forums, it seems a lot of you are very keen on Belgium. Especially its beer, chocolates, French fries and waffles. But hey, that's pretty normal!
Keep on biking! And don't drink & drive.

Chocolate and beer is a winning combination, always!

Not bringing me chocolate and beer when visiting from Belgium--that would warrant a ban .

It took me a while to get a picture of the bike. I have been riding the bike for about 4 years now. Unfortunately I got hit by a car three weeks ago, hence the wicked wheel.
Miche Pista Advanced cranks, Campy hubs, Weinmann brake, Mavic Open Pro rims, TTT handlebar, BBB headset.
Will become a SS instead of a fixed. Have mounted Cane Creek brake levers with one Crosstop for the rear and Shimano Tiagra brakes. White Ind. eno freewheel and Lizard Skin bartape.
