Hi, new biker here...

Hi everyone,
My name is Emmy and I've been biking for about 3-4 months now. I started because I used to be a big runner/hiker but I injured my foot and wasn't able to run so... I bike a lot now. I ride an old LLBean bike that's been in my family forever, but I've been riding lots of miles and it's holding up really well. It's extremely comfortable too.
Looking forward to meeting you all,
Emmy

Hi Emmy, Welcome to BF.
I started on a 25 year old road bike.
Two bad disc's in my back.
Riding has strengthen my back muscles to where the pain is gone.
How is the foot healing?

Hi Emmy! How many speeds has that LL Bean bike got? It's undoubtedly sturdy, although it's probably heavy as all get out!

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !
