Cheers from Alexandria, VA!
Just wanted to say "Hello, Everyone!" I'm a fairly regular bike commuter (April-November) and recently changed offices and tripled my commute. Now that I'm riding on the street about 65% of my commute (as opposed to the paved trail portion, thank you Mount Vernon), I thought I'd swing by the forum to get some pointers on how not to get killed, how not to p*** off drivers, and how to pick out a speedier bike (I'm pedaling my butt off on my Trek Allant and still average only 12mph). I'm sure I'll learn lots of other useful things here. Thanks in advance! It's great to be here!
