Wet, Warmish Century...what to wear?
This is looking to be my first long-distance wet ride. Current forecast is 63L/83H 60% chance of rain. Scattered Thundershowers.
What would you wear/bring to wear?
I'm currently thinking: synthetic jersey/windvest/wool arm warmers/shorts/wool socks/full-finger gloves (for better grip)
I've got full fenders, and could break out the raincape, but I've never used it on a century, only commuting, maybe 10 miles tops.
The bike is pretty well lit being a commuter and will take along my reflective vest in case it gets very dark and rainy.
Being a pretty substantial 245lb Clyde, this ride @ <8000' of climbing is about the toughest century I do.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Speaking for myself- if it's 70 degrees or warmer and raining, I don't need any warming clothes- just whatever bike clothes I normally wear will work.
I have limited experience with a raincape, but wouldn't use it on a ride like that.
The one essential item for me is the visor for my helmet, which keeps a lot of the rain off my glasses.

I'd go for a lightweight wool jersey, wool socks, and bring along knee warmers and arm warmers. Oh, and a rain jacket just in case. A year and a half ago I did a spring 200k (125mi) brevet with a high of about 50 and rain literally all day. Dressed a little warmer than the above (mid-weight wool everything and goretex jacket), I was just fine. The big caveat is keep moving. When you stop, you cool off, and when you're wet that ain't good.
