Not sure if this is *cool* but it's a photo that I found on the Al Gore invented interwebs. Not sure who took them. First race on that bike

Photo is cool. Number pinning needs work. Don't pin through the holes, pin goes through the number panel twice, not once. Use at least 7 pins - corners, and middle of top & sides. A cleanly pinned number is free speed. Oh, and do as I say, not as I do

Yes it is a *cool* photo.

That is the Slice?

Two comments:
1. I'm concerned for you because I believe facial hair is likely un-aero.
2. OMG look at your paws on the shifters. I notice this because I have trouble getting leverage on my shifters, my hands are too small I think.

Yes, that's the Slice with my 'guess-a-fit'. I've since raised the saddle about 12 mm.

1. HA! 25 lbs too heavy and you worry about facial hair. Good one!
2. Pictures must add some paw-ness. I've not got the biggest hands.

What you can't see is the stem sticker...

Or as I do!

IBO, you look very relaxed. That is so good! Your position looks great from what I can see, too. I love the blackout look. You look like a bumblebee. And that's not a bad thing at all!

Those photos definitely qualify as "Cool"!

Well, it's way easier to shave than to diet. I'm all about plucking the low hanging fruit.

Awesome bike art. My Madone has a sticker that says "Enjoy life" with a picture of a French dude in a beret riding a bike and carrying a bottle of wine. I didn't put it there actually, it was the kid I bought it from. I love it though, it's half the reason I bought the bike.

If anyone wants to see someone going really slow on a cyclocross circuit, here's a video I did of my race this past Sunday. The camera was a Contour HD mounted on my handlebars. One lap of the course. I was going faster than it seemed. The climbs are also much steeper than they appear. The young women are stronger than me, nothing to comment about there.

This is my 4th LKHC this year and the last one will be Thanksgiving morning - Mount Hamilton.

Size matters...check out the guns.
