Craigslist.com is good if you are selling locally. Just watch out for scams, pick-up local only, and cash only.

Anyone riding tommorow? I'm thinking of getting in 50 miles+ tommorow morning, like to start around 7am or so.

Also did anyone go to bikejam? I missed it, how was it?

I assume you mean the Park & Ride by Back River Bridge--see ya then.

You'll have to take it easy on me--I did 131 miles Saturday and 40-something to Annapolis from BWI today.

What time were you out yesterday? I took the kiddies to my parents and my dad and I took a ride into annapolis in the afternoon. Perfect day for a ride downtown.

miles miles miles

Isaius,
You must be piling on the miles. I wanted to do the DCR ride on Saturday but just not enough time, kids etc. I did the BBC 61 mile ride out of Mt. Airy which was kind of enough for me, must be since I've only done flat 20-30 mile rides this month at Montebello. 700 miles last month and only going to have 500 or so this. June will have to be bigger. You must have like 8000 miles so far or something.

takes four hours to get there? you must be having the beer first, huh?

anyway me and no racer were there about 9am checking things out, looks pretty cool, plus they'll take you across the river so you can hit cecil county, another day I'll do that, wife had me on a tight 4 hour time line today and of course I came home late, heh heh.

noracer requested I take it easy on him , at one point I was nice enough to let him go as much as 2 miles ahead of me. When I did catch up I pretended to be completely out of breath and beg for water.

seriously though, he is fast going up those hills, as I'm sure some of you know.

Noracer, thanks for the work out, my legs should recover in 4-6 weeks and then we can ride again.

LOL! Don't let Josh fool you. He's strong--especally for riding that heavy-assed 12 speed. I suggested that he come out for the race team.

Anyway, we stopped out at Biller's. He had a nice set-up for his opening day. It was too bad that we couldn't stay longer, but "thems the breaks".

Josh and I fought a stiff headwind on the way back. Little did I know that he ran out of water. By the time we got to Riverside Drive in Essex, he had to pull over to a VFW and borrow some water from their water hose. A few more minutes later, we were back at the Park & Ride. We BS'ed for awhile, then parted ways. A good 3 hours and 57 minutes (for me) in the saddle.

Here's some of what occurred at Biller's Bike Shop later in the day:

well, I am back around, but no long a MD peep.

I am down in Charleston. Have not ridden my bike for 2 months, but will be getting it down here this weekend. I probably lost quite a bit of fitness while at boot camp. However, another thing I lost is almost 15 lbs. So that should help to counteract that.

Hope everyone is doing well.

I am now attempting to figure out what is going on for group rides in this area.
