Best replacement for my wheel.

I own a 2015 Cannondale Trail 4 and went for a ride today and somehow managed to trash the wheel (bent a little so it wobbles when spinning).
I'm new to the whole mountain biking scene so don't know much about bikes, but I am reading up.
I was looking for the specs for the rims/wheel that came with the bike but can't find anything beyond the name. I want to buy something slightly better (or much better depending on the price) does anyone know how much the rims weigh and what do I look for beyond the weight? Or what would be a good replacement for the bent rim. I suppose that I will have to replace both the front and back to keep a nice weight balance right?
Thanks for your time

Some info regarding your budget, the type of riding you do, maybe even how you bent this one. Then, you might get some meaningful responses.

Just take it to a shop and get it trued. Unless it is super bent they can fix it. No you don't have to replace both wheels if it is too bent.

Live in Denmark so I'm not sure if the budget price would be relevant as everything here is most likely more expensive. However with regards to the others, I am a trail rider and regularly go long distance between cities off and on road (mostly off road through the woods) and I was riding in the woods speeding through a patch of mud when I slipped and fell hard on the left side.

I meant if I had to replace the front wheel would I also have to replace the rear?

Do you have access to Stan's or Mavic over there? If you have to replace, and you have the money, upgrade to a new wheelset. Likely to be stronger and lighter.

Thanks. I'll look for those.

It is hard to tell how bad the wheel is from the OP's description, but I agree, first check with a shop or two about getting it trued. Sometimes it is possible, sometimes it isn't (with close tolerances).

Also check all the spokes to see if one is broken. Replace spokes as needed, and true.

If you want the front and rear to match, you have to either find an OEM original replacement, or at least a new one with the same rim.

However, there really is no reason for matching rims or wheels other than vanity. You may, in fact, choose an upgrade, of the one bad wheel.
