Pedal question

I have Time aluminum pedals on one bike and am looking to get eggbeater platforms for my other bike. I am wondering if the cleats are compatible with eggbeater pedals?
I know they come with cleats but I don't want to change cleats when I decide to ride the other bike.

Bikes: Cannondale super V 500, Bianchi Piaggio(hopefully getting a new road bike when I get some money)

Good question, I don't believe they are compatible though.

they are not compatible. Well i think if you really push in, it will lock in. BUt it will be more hassle than its worth. When you get egg beaters or any CB product at that, they include cleats.

You got the gist of his post though. Time cleats won't work with eggbeater pedals and vice versa.

They wont work. Get a second pair of shoes as well and all will be good.

A smart person would just buy a new pair of Times instead of the Eggbeaters.

A smart person would have never asked the question as he would have already known the answer.
