erhan - bike looks great. Are you still going to have to sell it?
I know I already posted this one but I just signed up for photo bucket so would like to see if the remote linking works alright. Plus I hate having to use the thumbnail.

I'm still thinking about selling it. I'm leaving Canada in October and won't be back for at least 2 years. I'll either keep it, spend lots of money for a case and spare parts, or sell it and cry. Tough choice

Definately a tough choice, one I wouldn't want to have to make. Regardless good luck whichever route you end up going.

A bike that heavy needs more stopping power... and it would be weird if both people controled a set of brakes, so one person controlling all 4 individually seems a lot better, even if it looks weird. Nice set up though. Really nice.

Sweet tandem, but I don't get the quadruple brake lever thing.tandem rims get super HoT to the point they can flow up tubes, believe me is not fun and also can be very dangerous if your tyre explotes, so the idea was to have a somehow secondary, well more than that redundant brake sistem.
i consider my XTR V-brakes the primary brakes, maybe because i'm being around canti's and cable brakes for many years and because they have exelent modulation, for the hydrolics i "customize" a old but very powerful set of Hope C-2 levers with "enduro" 4 piston calipers,,,do i need to tell you stops in No TIME!?!?!?
the C-2 levers works as "Close" sistem, so you can change the amount of brake pressure by compressing the hydrolic fluid with this little knob(that drives a piston up and down inside the reservior) so i don't need to have the disc dragging and slowing us down until i really need them, also when the rotors get hot the expand a little so this is a great way to control that,,,oh and another thing, with a "open" like the more current levers you can not flip them upside down.
I also Weld the V-brake mounts in the Back of my FUNN 20MM trueAxle fork, don't ask me why I always believe the brakes will work better but I can not really tell.
for my more "Normal" forks i have DKG Brake boosters on them, exellent upgrade.
anyway I don't want to take more space around here, but is only one more thing to say, since tandems are so long you can have all the brakes you want since they are "Almost" Unflipable (I did one 2 feet high stoppy already with a 130pound stocker) so is fun but you can also bend your forks backwards trying to stop,,well for sure not this Forks they are freaking massive.
now back to regular programing.
