My beef for the day

Alright, Friday ( a week ago tomorrow ) I ordered all new drive train for my bike. SRAM X.9 to be exact. I choose the three day shipping expecting it to be here by the end of the week (Friday or Saturday at the latest) I'm supposed to recieve a confirmation on Monday telling me the shipping number and what not. So Wednesday rolls around still no word, I send a frustrated e-mail to BeyondBikes.com and wonder "HEY, what's up with this?!" so I do and I recieve a response and I quote. "It was send out monday, the shipping numer is XXXXXXXX" and immediately after that email I recieve the confirmation I was supposed to recieve monday and my bank account gets drawn for the amount of the purchase. Starting to feel a little erked I check the location of my package with USPS tracking and BAM it's still in San Diego, where BeyondBikes is located, two days after their person claims it was sent out. Am I really supposed to believe that they would send out $164 worth of stuff without recieving payment first. Now I wouldn't have had a problem had they told me oh it got delayed or some other problem but no, He had the gall to tell me it was sent on Monday when it wasn't. I feel like I'm justified in my anger.

Have any of you had problems with BeyondBikes.com?

I hear you. Being lied to after a screw up is 10x worse than the initial screw up. I mean, things happen right? ***** gets screwed up sometimes. But getting lied is unacceptable

Speedgoat did that to me two years ago and I haven't been back since. I always window shop there but never buy there anymore. In hindsight, I should thank them because now I have a real solid relationship with my LBS and get prices there that any online retailer could not come close to matching.

I had this same sort of expirence with Universal Cycles . They took too long to get a 3day shipment(7 buisness days) to me . I refused the shipment and got a full refund . On the other hand , I've been shipped the wrong items, and when I contact them about it , they send out the correct item without even asking for me to ship them the mistake .
